Hammy and Bubbles

Loss of a pet hits hard. Even when one is mentally prepared for it. It is like witnessing irreversible process that is heartbreaking and unacceptable. Death is cold and hard. No amount of logic or thought process prepares one for the final step. Witnessing death leads to an emptiness that can only be felt, not expressed.

I lost Hammy and Bubbles this week; probably on the same day - few hours here and there. I just don't know for sure because Hammy went missing before he came to his cage to curl up in a long slumber. He did not get up after that. Bubbles was pronounced dead on arrival at the emergency - a drive too long probably.

Path you Walk

“The path you are walking originates from discovering who you are and embracing your true nature and value. It originates from your love for yourself. It originates from self respect and willingness to stand up for yourself. It stems from self belief.”

“Doubts that you get, anxiety that feel originates from “how will I be perceived”. It stems from the need to fit in, to be what is considered normal by people around you, to not stick out. We hate being judged because we want to be accepted and included. But true acceptance and inclusion comes only from people who are at our level. Else it starts feeling like a farce. Remember the feeling you have when you look back at how you were trying to fit in. How you wonder that you wasted so much time trying to buy acceptance? That is the path this doubt and anxiety wants you to walk again.”

What you need is not to elevate people or wait for them to accept you, but to find better class of people.

Words from a dear friend in times of self doubt.

This week in March

This week has been defined by 2 names:

1. Maye Musk

2. Robert Scoble

And just as I was searching for something else, Brian Roemmele's note:

Until one is committed, there is hesitancy, the chance to draw back — concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth that ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too. All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favor all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way.

Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”—Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 1773

PS: On ClubHouse, it was Rinpoche Shyalpa. He confirmed that I am on the right track.

Joy

I stayed up last night because I just wanted to rush and do all the things in the world! Why have I been so cooped up in my life..I need to get out and be.

Oh the joy! There are no coincidences and the fact that you attract what you need is so true. I am happy to be in this space. I don't want to stop now.
