The very first blog that created in Nov 2004 use to have a lot of fun stuff. Lots of quotes and stuff that appealed to me at that time. And while going though a website of quotes I came across the Think Different Ad campaign. Liked it instantly and enough to put it on my blog. Thought of it as cool stuff to promote a company called Apple.
In 2005, I had only remotely heard about Apple as a company - had heard more about an iPod, knew only one person who had it or wanted to upgrade to a new one. Had heard of safari as a browser and MAC as an OS but all in relation to browser / OS compatibly testing. But had never, ever tested them on my own. I remember going to Bangalore's Apple outlet in Forum mall to look at the latest iPod that had come - I was taken by someone interested in gadgets and I had no interest in it at all. It was enough for me to know that it was very expensive.
It was only in 2006, at Elk Grove that it all came back to me. Their Apple office had the campaign painted all over the wall. And I was glad to say that I had known those lines from before.
It was just some years ago. How everything has changed!
