Blocks

Vihaan is a persistent little boy! His blocks won't listen to him. They refuse to stand up tall and tall, as he wants. He insists they listen! As his tower grows in size, so does his confidence and yet after a while, the tower topples.

We try to help him by telling him to stop at a certain height but he does not. He does not. He will not. Because, he does not know or rather has not experienced why adding those extra blocks will always bring his tower down. He will learn that in sometime - in a couple of weeks maybe - as soon as his mind grasps the secret of the perfect height of the tower. And he will move on to the next problem.

This is how we are in this world. Solving problems. Moving on to the next one. Unsolved problems keep coming back to us till we understand the core reason. 

Draining

I do not want to meet anyone for the next year and hibernate in peace. Cleaning, cooking, laundry, reading, re-doing home, sleeping and outings only with kids/husband - that is all I want to do on the precious weekends that I get. But no, they will be sabotaged by well meaning-well wishers and before you know the weekend calendar is spilling over. :(
